Introduction
Ontological Coaching is an extraordinarily powerful methodology for effecting real change at the individual, team, and organisational level. It is highly effective because it is based on a practical understanding of the power of language, emotions, and body in shaping behaviour and culture.
Who benefits from this programme
This programme is ideal for:
- Coaches seeking ICF-accredited certification and advanced coaching skills.
- Organisational consultants and facilitators working with leadership and culture.
- Leaders and executives who want to embed coaching into their leadership practice.
- Professionals looking to join an international network of ontological practitioners.
What’s different about our approach
Unlike other coach training programmes that focus mainly on tools and techniques, the COCLP works at the ontological level — language, moods, and body. This deeper focus equips participants not only to help others change behaviours, but to create sustainable shifts in their way of being.
This deeper focus equips participants not only to help others change behaviours, but to create sustainable shifts in their way of being.
Programme structure
The COCLP is delivered in three progressive levels, with an emphasis on experiential learning, reflection, and practice:
Level 1 – The Linguistic Basis of Ontological Coaching
Explore the role of language in everyday interactions and coaching, integrating with emotions and body.
Level 2 – Emotional Learning and Ontological Coaching
Develop the capacity to coach effectively in the emotional domain, grounded in neuroscience and human behaviour.
Level 3 – The Professional Practice of Ontological Coaching
Consolidate and extend previous learning, with a deeper focus on the body and applying ontology in organisational consulting.
Programme delivery includes 9 conferences totalling 29 online in-person days, supported by individual study and small group learning.

Theoretical Foundations
Ontological Coaching rests on a strong theoretical base, drawing on biology of cognition, philosophy of language, phenomenology, and the philosophy of emotions and the body. These disciplines underpin a new practical understanding of how humans function, learn, and change.
